Yes. Every new signup gets 30 days of full platform access, no credit card required. After 30 days, your club continues on the plan that matches how you use HenZoe. If parents are paying through HenZoe, your software stays free. Otherwise, you continue on the software tier that fits your active player count. Your data and configuration carry forward either way.

Yes. Every HenZoe product feature is available on every plan, including Starter. We do not gate features. Plans differ only by capacity (active players, storage), retention, and support level. Whether you are on Starter or Academy, you can run tryouts, send branded receipts, use the admin portal, run skill assessments, and use Zoe AI under the same fair-use policy.

Your software is free when HenZoe is your club's primary payment system. In normal use, this means at least 50% of your active players have a current-season or active-billing-period payment through HenZoe (with a rolling 90-day fallback for clubs without configured seasons). If activity drops materially below that, we move you to the software tier that fits your active player count, with 30 days notice. You return to free the moment your HenZoe Payments activity is back above the threshold.

Token or occasional payment activity does not qualify. You never have to pick a tier; we move you to the right one automatically.

Yes. Software tier pricing is subject to change as we refine the product and as our cost base shifts. We give every club at least 30 days notice before any change to the tier you're currently on, and any change applies on a forward-looking basis. With HenZoe Payments, your software stays at $0/month regardless of any future tier updates, which is the main reason most growing clubs run their parent payments through us.

Your billing adjusts month by month. Annual plans pay upfront for the tier your club is on at the start of the term. If your active player count crosses a threshold and your club moves into a higher tier during the year, we do not ask for a second annual payment. We add a prorated monthly difference for the time remaining on your annual term. At renewal, the new tier becomes your annual base. If your club drops back to a lower tier mid-year, that monthly difference goes away, and any sustained downsize is reflected when your annual term renews.

With HenZoe Payments, none of this applies. Your software stays at $0/month regardless of how your active player count shifts during the year.

Bank Pay is parent payment by ACH bank transfer. Bank rails cost less to operate than card networks, so we can offer a cheaper rate (1.75% + $1.00, capped at $20) and pass the savings to your parents. On a $5,000 academy fee, parents pay roughly $32.50 with Bank Pay versus about $165 on a flat 3.29% + $1 card rate.

Bank Pay also has a 0.25% funds movement fee on every transaction. This covers our actual cost from Stripe Connect for moving money from your parents to your bank. We pass it through at cost with no markup. Even with this fee, Bank Pay is materially cheaper than card on every ticket.

Weekly. Every Friday, Stripe sends a payout to your club's bank account covering the previous week's payments (minus fees, refunds, and any disputed amounts). Bank transfers take 1 to 3 business days to arrive. Faster payout options will be available as a paid add-on after launch.

Around 0.3 to 0.4% of ACH payments return after our prevention measures (account validation, microdeposit verification, smart retry). When a return happens, we notify the parent immediately, and the $4 return fee is added to their next payment attempt by default. The parent can retry by ACH or switch to card. Your club does not lose money on parent-side payment failures.

No per-tier credit cap. Zoe AI is included on every plan under a generous fair-use policy calibrated so normal club operations comfortably stay inside it. In testing, even our heaviest clubs use a small fraction of the envelope without thinking about it. Day-to-day work like scheduling, communications, summaries, drafts, and reminders is fully covered.

Fair use is about preventing abuse, not metering ordinary work. If activity looks abusive (bulk automated scraping, runaway loops, unusual external integration patterns that act like a content farm) we reach out. We don't auto-throttle and we don't drop you into a degraded mode without a conversation first.

Chat messages and attachments older than the plan retention window are automatically removed: 30 days on Starter, 180 days on Coach, Club, and Academy, custom on Scale. Schedules, attendance, payments, and skill assessments have no time limit on any plan. An Extended Retention add-on (24 months) will be available post-launch for $19/month.

Your billing adjusts automatically. If you start collecting payments through HenZoe and clear the activity threshold, your software becomes free. If you move payments to your own Stripe account or another processor, you continue on the software tier that fits your active player count. Existing payment history stays in your records either way. You never have to pick a plan; we move you to the right one.

Absolutely. No contracts, no penalties. Cancel any time from your billing dashboard and keep access through the end of your paid period. We never delete your data. If you downgrade or pause, your records stay intact and re-activate the moment you come back.

No. HenZoe is sport-agnostic. Soccer is our launch vertical, but the platform supports any youth sports or activity club: basketball, volleyball, swim, martial arts, dance, music, and more.

HenZoe Pay supports US-based clubs and US-issued payment methods only at launch. International expansion is on the roadmap. Foreign cards on HenZoe Pay see an extra 1% currency conversion fee from Stripe.
